Hello everyone and welcome to... NOT episode 200, again? We promise, we're not trying to give you Episode 200 blue balls, but unfortunately with the 4th of July holiday we could not get together to record this important episode! So with Justin and the Sauce unavailable for the week and no film content to speak of, I put the word out and heard back from two long-time friends and amazing supporters of the show!
This week's "sort of" episode, then, is a look into the podcasting side of things with the amazing Emily Prokop of The Story Behind, and our good friend Dan of Netflix 'n Swill! There's some movie talk here and there, but this episode is more about the "how" of Epic Film Guys (and podcasting in general) than the "what" of Epic Film Guys. This may just be the most special minisode that we'll ever record on the Epic Film Guys podcast, as we take a look back (yes, ANOTHER look back, we love it!) at the 1989 Batman film. Absolutely the favorite movie of our podcast, we love it so much that we did a commentary way back in episode 73 (https://epicfilmguys.podbean.com/e/episode-073). Welcome one and all to another episode of the Epic Film Guys podcast! We are on the doorstep of 200 episodes, and with a light week movie-wise we opted to skip recording an episode this week to instead bring you another installment of our podcasting journey. You see, back when we celebrated 100 episodes, I decided to take one minute from each episode we'd done up to that point in sequence and cut it together as an episode... just as a look back at where we'd gone over those past episodes.
It was such a blast to do, I'm doing it again! Settle in for one minute of every single episode, from 101-199! The clips are cut in sequence, so minute one is from 101, minute two from 102, and so on (unless the episode didn't have a matching timecode in which case I halved it). The result is a sampling of a ton of movie reviews, discussions, and a ton of guest voices that we've had join us on the show for the last 99 episodes. Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new episode of the Epic Film Guys podcast!! We are LIVE after a smash success with this past weekend's Livestream for the Cure, where we ended up making over $16,000 for the Cancer Research Institute. The meat of the show this week is our review of John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum, a franchise which our good friend Paul has dubbed "the best action franchise of all time!" Is he right? Welcome ladies and gentlemen to a pre-recorded episode of the Epic Film Guys podcast! That's right, not since my honeymoon in 2016 have we canned an episode for future release and that's because we're preparing for the Livestream for the Cure, which as of release day begins TOMORROW! Being that we canned this one early, we decided to do another entry in our "To the Tens" series and focus on the year 2014 in film! As of release, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is just a couple weeks away, so we decided to take a look back at Gareth Edwards' Godzilla, which came out that year, and we also talk briefly about what we're hoping for from King of the Monsters. I couldn't do this alone, so I was joined by two guests: our great friend Dan of Netflix 'n Swill and first-time guest Sam from Movie Reviews in 20 Qs stopped by to help out and we counted down our top five films of the year as well. This episode was supposed to feature JD of InSession Film, but sadly his audio was lost to the vastness of the internet, and none of it survived outside of a brief mention to him or something he said in the episode. He did, however, record his top five as a special insert, which you'll hear at the end of the top five discussion. This is the big one, ladies and gentlemen! After 11 years and 22 films, the entire MCU comes to a thrilling conclusion (at least for this phase) in Avengers: Endgame, and we're here with a FULL SPOILER review, as we didn't really think it possible to review or discuss the film without spoiling anything. We are joined by amazing friend of the show, Kevin Sampson of Picture Lock, to discuss the film's great and not-so-great moments, but most of our panel comes out of it with glowing recommendations! One does not (guess who?) and fireworks fly!

Hello all and welcome to a brand new year of the Epic Film Guys podcast! This week on the show, Justin is once again AWOL, so with no new films to discuss until next week's review of Glass, I decided to start a new series here on the Epic Film Guys with "To the Tens," a retrospective series reviewing the entire decade in film, one year at a time. This week's kick-off episode will cover, appropriately enough, 2010!
Joining me this week to look back at this huge year is a good friend to the show, someone whose voice you've heard time and again- Dan of Netflix 'n Swill is here! We're also joined by two first-time guests on the show. We're thrilled to welcome Ketryn of Kim and Ket Stay Alive... Maybe? and Ryan Terry, who isn't a podcaster but does teach screenwriting at the University of Tampa. We've assembled an eclectic panel to take an in-depth look at 2010 in film with our top fives of the year! Welcome everyone to a very special minisode presentation from the Livestream for the Cure 2.0. In honor of Perry and Lindsay Johnson we're presenting the full close-out from the event where we were joined by these two amazing people in the wake of Perry's diagnosis with stage IV cancer. Perry's battle with cancer ended less than a week ago as he passed away at home with his wife by his side. Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to another Nick-less episode of the Epic Film Guys podcast! Nick is still away until next week's show, but Justin and the Sauce won't have to do the heavy lifting alone as they've recruited Gerald from Two Peas on a Podcast to fill in. In the FREE patron-only segment this week, he and the guys will discuss what does and doesn't make something a Christmas movie in response to our Facebook poll earlier this week about Batman Returns.
In the main show, Gerald and the Sauce are dropping a review of The Favourite starring Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz, and Emma Stone! Then we're on to the main review where all three of the guys will go in-depth on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and one of our panelists drops a perfect rating on the film! Before we roll out on the show, however, LoySauce also has a quick blurb about his early screening of Aquaman, and you won't want to miss it.

Welcome back everyone and thank you for joining us for another week here on the Epic Film Guys podcast! Kev is here this week to help us review the brand new Creed II, the eighth film in the Rocky franchise that, judging from the box office, shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. Epic Film Guy Nick lives in upstate NY and graduated from Clarion University of PA in 2010 with a degree in English (writing). While in college he studied film as part of a film studies minor and made a couple short films. He handles the sound production and editing of the show as well as its release and manages the twitter account @EpicFilmGuys.
Epic Film Guy Justin lives in a suburb of Washington D.C. after moving from the Binghamton, NY area with his wife and daughter.
