Hello everyone and welcome to a very special episode of the Epic Film Guys podcast, as we take an in-depth look at the original blockbuster and still one of the greatest films ever made, Steven Spielberg's Jaws. What better way to celebrate Shark Week and to look ahead to The Meg (full review coming next week!) than to discuss this absolute masterpiece of suspense! Join us as we look at the making of the film, discuss the film's troubled production and whirlwind shoot, and end on the cultural impact that it has left in its wake that is still fully alive today. It all started with Jaws!
Also this week, Nick had a chance to see The Darkest Minds and The Spy Who Dumped Me, but the Nick's Rants theme finally sounds out in the darkness after months of absence when one of these films sends him over the edge. Thank you all so much for listening and for all of your amazing support. Remember, we need Apple Podcasts reviews and we want to get to 150 by the end of the year! Find the link below and rate/review/subscribe to the show; when we hit 150, everyone who has left a review will be entered to win one of three $25 gift cards or numerous other prizes; just our way of giving back and saying thank you for your support. We'll see you at the movies!
Please make a donation to Perry & Lindsay's GoFundMe to help them raise money for medical costs associated with Perry's cancer diagnosis: https://www.gofundme.com/hello-cancer-wtf?member=137506.
