Episode 059 - Freddy Krueger & The Vulgar Sausage
Thursday Aug 18, 2016
Thursday Aug 18, 2016
We begin this week's episode with some brief thoughts on the film Pete's Dragon and Justin recounts his trip to meet one of the greatest horror icons of all time, Mr. Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund! This week will also have a little bit of an unscripted flavor to it as I fly sans-outline, but after the jam-packed Suicide Squad episode last week, it was good to jump off the page again and just have a nice conversation.
We do, however, jump into a war-themed segment of Epic Previews this week as we dissect trailers for Star Wars: Rogue One, Arrival, Hacksaw Ridge, and Dunkirk. We're also playing your voice clips once again in our Fanviews segment- if you want to leave a message for the Epic Film Guys, please call the hotline at 607.444.1473! Anything goes!
To close out this week's show, we give a short review of the brand-new raunchy R-rated comedy Sausage Party from Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg, and some internet issues will see the arrival of a fan favorite during the silence. Thanks very much for listening, and we'll see you at the movies!
